Audio visual services set for install at Frankston's new Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre

AV Media Systems have been named as the successful tenderer for the provision of complete Audio Visual services for the new Frankston City Council's new Peninsula Aquatic Recreation Centre (PARC).

Currently under construction by Adco Contractions, and set to open in September, the new $49 million facility will feature the latest state-of-the-art audio and visual systems to engage patrons from the time they enter the facility.

Paul Smith of AV Media Systems states explains that PARc "will be equipped with the latest in digital audio processing to the group fitness studio and wellness studios allowing each area to be programmed and customized for optimum performance and sound quality to enhance participants class experience.

"An impressive DMX controlled lighting effects display within the studios will add to the overall experience and enjoyment for members attending classes.

"Additionally, a 24 zone background music and paging system to the entire facility, large interactive touch screens, five channels of digital signage for the display of timetables, events and messages to keep guests informed, plus an interactive multimedia play facility within the childcare area will place PARC at the at the forefront of aquatic facilities."

PARC will also devut the Aquasphere Family Raft Ride from WhiteWater West, a world-first family thrill ride, that will feature high speed twists and drops, fully-enclosed spheres with light and sound shows and thrilling 90 degree corners!
