AV Media Systems to complete audio visual fitout at Aqualink Box Hill
AV Media Systems have been appointed as the successful tenderer to undertake the complete audio visual (AV) fit out for the City Whitehorse's $30 million redevelopment of the Aqualink Box Hill aquatic and recreation centre.
Designed by William Ross Architects and being built by Cockram Construction, Aqualink Box Hill is being transformed into a modern, high quality facility, with greatly improved accessibility and an expanded range of aquatic, fitness and recreation opportunities for the Whitehorse community.
Due for completion in December 2013, the refurbished facility will feature the latest state-of-the-art audio and visual systems to engage users and members. The application of the latest in digital audio processes will be applied to the Group Fitness Studio, Cycle, MBS and wellness studios allowing each area to be programmed and customised for optimum performance and sound quality to enhance participants class experience. Additionally, a 16 zoned background music and paging system, a digital headend antenna system, visual displays for television and digital signage content and aquatic education sound systems are all included in the AV component of the building works.
AV Media Systems Director Chris Kiskiras explains "AV Media Systems are proud to be associated with this major recreation facility.
"Our 10 years' experience in the field of customized design, installation and services for the leisure and recreation industry is now recognisd nationally among industry professionals, associated organisations and our customers alike, and that's something we are very proud of."
