AUSactive boosts Western Australian team with appointment of Karinda Lobb
AUSactive has boosted its Western Australian team with the appointment of Karinda Lobb to spearhead the upcoming Million Moves launch and assist with important advocacy work for the industry.

Beeney enthused “we are thrilled to have Karinda onboard with us at AUSactive. She has fantastic experience in both managing various projects in local government and as a professional in the health and fitness sector, having run her own bootcamp business.
“2025 is set to be a huge year for AUSactive in WA and her appointment strengthens our team to ensure we continue to grow and represent our industry in the west.
“Karinda has a genuine passion for the health and fitness and AUSactive’s mission, and will she be a valuable support in driving the success of the Million Moves campaign here in WA.”
The Western Australia Million Moves initiative, supported by the WA government for the next three years, will target all community groups s across the state over a three-year project.
The campaign will engage a wide range of stakeholders to pledge their support for the campaign including local government, employers, fitness businesses, fitness professionals, schools and health organisations.
To take part in Million Moves, participants can register and pledge their commitment to complete a minimum of 75 moves each day for 21 days.
The first event will kick-off from 1st – 21st June 2025 with expressions of interest for businesses and individuals now open.

Lobb shared “it’s great to be part of the AUSactive team here in WA. It’s a fantastic opportunity to combine my experience, skills, love for health and fitness and making a real impact – it really is the perfect fit.
“My first mission is to make sure WA smashes the first Million Moves campaign coming up in June. In addition, I’m looking forward to working with our members and representing them in the various advocacy initiatives AUSactive is involved with.”
Aside from her role with AUSactive, Lobb is a proud breast cancer survivor and living proof that exercise isn’t just about looking good – it’s the ultimate medicine.
Lobb adds “exercise really helped me power through illness, brutal treatment and surgeries and I am living proof that movement really is magic.
“I have had many amazing years in the fitness industry, running my own bootcamp business and still love teaching my weekly group fitness classes at gyms south of Perth.”
