Attractions industry leaders gather on the Gold Coast for AALARA 2015

The Australian Amusement, Leisure and Recreation Association's (AALARA) annual conference has opened today on the Gold Coast, welcoming key industry players from across Australia.

Having last been held on the Gold Coast in 2013, the annual conference and exhiitbion is being today and tomorrow (6th and 7th May) at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.

The conference’s keynote address is being delivered by Craig Davidson, Chief Executive of Ardent Leisure’s Theme Parks Division while the event will also feature Industry Breakout Forums on the following topics: Trampolining, Transportable Rides, Go Karts, Aquatics and a Small Business industry workshop.

In a change to the original program, the sessions on the connected guest experience is now being presented by Magic Memories Asia-Pacific Chief Executive Steve Taitoko and Chief Marketing Technologist Dave Aicken.
Steve leads Magic Memories’ operations teams in evolving the relevance of guest memories, focusing on designing products and experiences that can layer across an entire attraction.  
Dave’s experience in advertising and marketing underpins his vision to deliver new ways to connect with guests.

The Conference program also offers delegates the opportunity to discuss current industry trends, best practices and latest technologies presenting business owners with a wealth of knowledge and valuable opportunities to network.

The 2015 AALARA National Conference and Trade Exhibition is being held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre from 5th to 7th May 2015.
