2015 AALARA Conference to draw attractions industry leaders
The Australian Amusement, Leisure and Recreation Association (AALARA) has released details of major speakers who will be addressing their upcoming 2015 National Conference.
With registrations now open for the event, which also include’s AALARA’s biennial Trade Exhibition, the Conference will include a group of talented and dynamic international and Australian industry leaders and speakers presenting inspiring and informative leadership key notes, educational and training industry breakout forums.
The AALARA Conference and Trade Exhibition will also conduct behind the scenes site tours relevant to the safe and profitable management of attractions industry businesses.

The importance of our industry to tourism – Craig Davidson, Chief Executive, Ardent Leisure Theme Parks Division
Craig has been General Manager Destination Development at Tourism Australia and now heads Ardent Leisure Theme Parks and will inform AALARA 2015 attendees about the relationship our industry has with tourism and how to harness and maximise tourists to your facility.

John Wickstrom, Chief Executive and founder of Magic Memories
John is a New Zealander, born in the South Island and with a degree in Marketing from Otago University. He co-founded Magic Memories in his second year out of University with Stu Norris back in 1994.
A graduate of the Icehouse mini MBA programme for owners and managers and a member of the Institute of Directors, John is passionate about evolving the relevance of guest memories, focusing on designing products and experiences that can layer across an entire attraction improving the guest experience, extending attractions brands, and be a significant revenue earner.
