ASSA executives get immersed at USSSA Conference

Australian Swim Schools Association (ASSA) executives Ross Gage and Emily McNeill have this week been participating in the annual US Swim Schools Conference.

The four-day event is a perfect opportunity for the Australian representatives to expand and deepen their network and gather valuable information for ASSA Swim School Members.

ASSA Chief Executive Gage (pictured) explains "having attended the Conference for most of the past 24 years, the connections that have been developed are exceptional."

This has facilitated a series of scheduled meetings over the week with Board members, the Special Needs Committee, the Small Swim Schools Committee and the Safer 3 Water Safety Foundation.

For ASSA Inclusion & Events Manager McNeill, with this being her second USSSA Conference in succession, her involvement in the USSSA ‘family’ is already profound.

She explains “the positive, open engagement with a wide range of individuals and groups is of enormous help with the areas I manage and the various ASSA Committees I coordinate.”

Invitations have also been accepted for the pair to attend and review the USSSA’s latest versions of their Special Needs Course Workshop and Babies and Toddlers Course Workshops.
