ARV and LSV partner in presenting 2024 Victorian Aquatics and Recreation Industry Conference

Aquatics and Recreation Victoria (ARV) and Life Saving Victoria (LSV) have announced that they will come together for this year’s Victorian Aquatics and Recreation Industry Conference.

Aiming to streamline the increasing full industry conference calendar, the LSV Aquatic Industry Summit will be integrated as a dedicated stream within the ARV Industry Conference in September - enhancing the learning experience of participants by bringing together the best of the industry under one roof.

The joint industry conference will extend over two days later this year, providing an invaluable platform for professionals in the aquatic and recreation sectors to network, share knowledge, and explore innovative solutions in the industry.

Explaining that the ARV Chief Executive, Kathy Parton stated “we are thrilled to join forces with Life Saving Victoria for our upcoming conference.

“This collaboration not only signifies our shared commitment to the aquatic and recreation industry but also demonstrates that we have listened carefully to the feedback from our stakeholders.

“The integration of our efforts shows a proactive approach to addressing the evolving needs and challenges of our sector. This union also enhances our ability to offer an enriched conference experience, tailored to the diverse interests and professional demands of our attendees.

“We are eagerly anticipating the opportunities this partnership will create, and we look forward to welcoming all attendees to what promises to be a landmark event in our industry."

LSV, General Manager - Training and Aquatic Industry, Andy Dennis added “by bringing the LSV Aquatic Industry Summit into the ARV Conference, we are creating a unique opportunity to focus on both collaboration and the critical areas of drowning prevention and water safety within the aquatic and recreation sector.

“This partnership will enhance our ability to offer comprehensive insights and innovative solutions, ensuring that these vital topics receive the attention they deserve under one roof. We are excited to unite our expertise with ARV to deliver an impactful program that advances our industry's standards and safety."

The 2024 Victorian Aquatics and Recreation Industry Conference is being held at Hyatt Place Essendon in Melbourne from 18th to 20th September.

ARV 2024 Regional Conference
ARV is also counting down to its 2024 Regional Conference being held on Tuesday 28th and Wednesday 29th May at Bendigo’s All Seasons Hotel.
