Ardent Leisure buys into Hypoxi weight management concept

The growing success of the Hypoxi concept of cellulite and fat burning treatments has been recognised by Ardent Leisure, who have acquired the rights to distribute Hypoxi training machines throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Acquired through Ardent’s fast growing Goodlife Health Clubs division, which had already introduced four Hypoxi studios into its clubs over the last 18 months, an Ardent statement explained that “the acquisition represents an opportunity to offer a premium priced product to new market segments outside traditional health club users.”

The statement added that the Goodlife’s Hypoxi studios “are now delivering meaningful earnings contributions”, and that “Goodlife will continue to operate the distribution model (while also planning) to roll-out further in-club studios and standalone, company owned studios in the coming years.”

Using advanced compression technology, Hypoxi is a proven targeted weight management concept that combines vacuum and compression therapy with low-impact exercise to help target body fat.

Since Hypoxi Australia was established in 2006 as distributor of the patented technology in Australia and New Zealand, the business has grown to include a network of 82 licensed studios.

Hypoxi Australia has also recently appointed its first ever brand ambassador, author, beauty writer and most recently, mother – Zoe Foster-Blake.

Commenting on Foster-Blake's role, Hypoxi Australia General Manager Alexis Farley stated “Zoe’s honesty and integrity in the health and beauty space makes her the perfect ambassador to talk about the real role Hypoxi can play in making women feel their absolute best.

“With her honesty and sense of humour, she is the perfect voice to communicate how Hypoxi combines low impact exercise with advanced vacuum technology to help women conquer their most frustrating body issues.”

As the brand ambassador Foster-Blake will be undertaking sessions to generate buzz about Hypoxi. She is a fan of the product herself, after many years of being loyal to the treatment she is back to help her body get back in shape post-baby.
