Aquatics & Recreation Victoria Industry Conference

Aquatics & Recreation Victoria has announced that its 2009 Industry Conference (formerly known as AquaRec) will be held on Thursday 27th and Friday 28th August 2009 at the new Melbourne Convention Exhibition Centre.
This two-day conference is directed at the decision makers in the aquatic and recreation industry including chief executives, directors and Managers of local government, commercial organisations and directors and managers of state government departments and is expected to attract delegates from across Australia and New Zealand.
This yearâs conference will explore the following themes including the current and future impact of the economic and financial climate; and the current and future impact of environmental factors on the aquatic and recreation industry
The conference will interrogate these broad national issues across the three themes of strategic planning, operations and development planning for the industry and provide delegates with practical advice through panel and workshop sessions.
Aquatics & Recreation Victoria has also announced that its annual AquaSummit Aquatic Conference will be held on 19th and 20th September 2009 at the Melbourne Sports & Aquatic Centre.
