Aqualink Nunawading and Box Hill secure AUSactive Quality Business Accreditation
AUSactive has advised that Aqualink Nunawading and Box Hill - owned and managed by Whitehorse City Council - have officially achieved Quality Business Accreditation in acknowledgement of their commitment to excellence in health, fitness, and community wellbeing.
The prestigious accreditation is awarded to businesses that meet the highest industry benchmarks in safety, professionalism, innovation, and service delivery.
Aqualink Nunawading and Aqualink Box Hill are two of Melbourne’s leading aquatic and leisure facilities and for the more than 7,500 members who call Aqualink home, the accreditation provides confidence that they are engaging with an organisation committed to delivering exceptional fitness experiences.
John Naddaf, Health & Fitness Coordinator at Aqualink, said the accreditation was a proud milestone for both facilities and noted “achieving AUSactive’s Quality Business Accreditation is an acknowledgment that our facilities, programs, and services meet the highest industry standards.
“It reaffirms our dedication to helping our community become happier, healthier, and more connected through exceptional health and fitness experiences.
“For our members, it means confidence that they are part of a safe, professionally run, and forward-thinking environment.
“The process requires us to consistently review and improve our programs, staff training, and operations to ensure every visit is positive and high-quality.”
“This accreditation represents the gold standard in our industry, and Aqualink has demonstrated excellence across every aspect of its operations - from member experience to staff development, safety protocols and innovation.
“By achieving this accreditation, Aqualink is setting the bar high for the entire sector, showing what it means to deliver safe, professional, and truly community-focused fitness services.”
Together, Aqualink Nunawading and Aqualink Box Hill feature two full-service gyms with seven dedicated group fitness studios, running more than 300 classes each week across aqua, cycle, reformer Pilates, small group training, wellness, and Les Mills programs.
Each month, the facilities deliver between 400–500 tailored gym appointments and around 300 personal training sessions, supported by a Health & Fitness team of more than 150 skilled professionals.
