AlphaFit equips Australian Institute of Sport training facility
Athletes training at the Australian Institute of Sport (AIS) will use state-of-the-art fitness equipment and flooring thanks to a new partnership with AlphaFit.
Explaining that the partnership with AlphaFit will benefit the thousands of athletes who train at the high-performance gym each year, AIS Performance Services Lead Ross Smith stated "we are delighted to partner with AlphaFit and give our athletes access to the best equipment in Australia.
“A key requirement for our gym is that it’s functional for athletes and coaches across all Para and Able sports. AlphaFit is the only supplier in Australia that will custom build to our standards.”
A recent upgrade to the weightlifting and strength area saw seven custom AlphaFit Power Cages with multi-grip chin up bars and a comprehensive selection of rig attachments installed.
The cages have been configured to provide greater accessibility to Para athletes.
AlphaFit Head of Marketing, Stephen Deane added "wWe are thrilled to partner with the Australian Institute of Sport as we continue to drive elite athletic excellence and representation for Australia's top athletes, while supporting all communities to be involved in sport.
“Together with the AIS, we’re not just supplying world-class equipment and flooring - we’re fuelling future generations of sporting success, ensuring every athlete has the tools they need to achieve their full potential.".
