Aligned Leisure seek new manager in Nillumbik

Set to commence management of the Eltham Leisure Centre in July, Aligned Leisure are currently seeking applications for the position of Nillumbik Leisure Manager.

The Nillumbik Leisure Manager will lead all aspects of Aligned Leisure’s operations within the Nillumbik Shire and have ultimate responsibility for the entire operations of the Eltham Leisure Centre.

Aligned Leisure Managing Director Cain Liddle believes the successful applicant has to love the fast paced nature of facility management, explaining “our Leisure Manager’s are critically important to our ability to align with the unique needs of the communities that we work within.

“They need to be out from behind their desks, walking the floor, getting to know our customers, leading and motivating our staff and delivering our suite of programs and services out into the communities that we work within.”

The Eltham Leisure Centre is located approximately 25 kilometres north-east of Melbourne and is currently undergoing a major aquatic redevelopment.

At the completion of the redevelopment, the facility will have an indoor lap pool, warm water pool, leisure pool (with adjoining learn to swim pool), an outdoor water play area as well as spa, sauna and steam facilities.

The Centre also has a 700 metre² health club, a range of program and group fitness spaces, a two-court multi-purpose sports stadium, café area and a childcare facility. To complement the brand new aquatic facilities, Aligned Leisure will be replacing almost every piece of equipment with brand new state-of-the-art health club equipment.

Liddle added “Eltham Leisure Centre is one of Melbourne’s premier facilities so it’s important that our new Leisure Manager has at least five years’ experience in a large or multi-site health and fitness facility management role which includes oversight of aquatic programming.
