AIS Water to debut its award-winning pool water disinfection technology at USA Trade Show
The manufacturer of Australia’s most innovative and awarded commercial and residential pool water disinfection technology, AIS Water, will be exhibiting at the International Pool, Spa & Patio Expo from 15th to 17th November at the Las Vegas Convention Centre, Nevada.
With over 30 years of research and development in commercial inline water disinfection technology, the company has pushed the boundaries of electrolysis enabling chlorine production in pool water with a wide salinity range.
AIS Water’s long history of innovation combined with extensive customer feedback means that its chlorine generators are specifically designed for commercial applications, offering protection for swimmers, pool staff, patrons, the community, and environment.
With the relevant certifications (NSF50/UL) in place for operation in the USA, AIS Water Chief Executive, Elena Gosse (pictured) said she is looking forward to sharing the benefits of AIS’ simpler, safer and smarter inline water disinfection technology with potential clients including resort and hotel operators, swim schools, aquatic centres, water theme parks, FINA/Olympic standard pool facilities and municipal pools.
Gosse explains “our commercial and residential chlorination technology is already operating in over 55 countries, and we can’t wait to offer the U.S Market an alternative to the costly and dangerous practice of disinfecting pool water by conventional liquid or granular chlorine dosing.”
AIS Water’s technology automatically produces chlorine via the process of electrolysis, within the pool water. Pool operators can break free from dosing with granular or liquid chlorine, thereby saving time and money on pool chemicals, reducing pool maintenance, minimizing water waste and improving community safety. There is no need to store or handle chlorine.
AIS Water’s AutoChlor and EcoLine chlorinators can safely disinfect water bodies of any size ranging from small resort pools to large water parks and with TDS levels ranging from 1,200ppm (freshwater) to 35,000 ppm (sea water). In fact, in one of its larger projects, AIS’ AutoChlor technology is producing 739 gallons of liquid chlorine equivalent per day, onsite and inline, for the Sheraton Grand Mirage Port Douglas Resort.
Inline chlorine generation is also cost effective being up to five times less expensive than conventional dosing methods when measured over a five to ten year period. Independent college research shows a long course pool previously disinfecting with granular chlorine will save up to 422,675 gallons of water (1.6 million litres) per year.
All AIS Water commercial chlorine generators are covered by a three-year warranty on power supply and electrolytic cells. AIS’ services include consultation for new pools or retrofitting existing pools, commissioning and servicing options, access to a dedicated customer experience manager and maintenance advice.
