Abel Sports sponsor NMIT turf management awards
Abel Sports has once again renewed its sponsorship commitment to the Northern Melbourne Institute of TAFE (NMIT) Horticulture Department's Turf Management Awards.
For the last two years Abel Sports has sponsored the Ohio State University Internship Award to assist students in the cost of attending this internship.
This year's winner, Liam Scott from Keysborough Golf Club has commenced his internship at the Muirfield Village Golf Club in Dublin, Ohio, a Jack Nicklaus designed golf course that this year will be hosting two PGA events and the Presidents Cup.
Welcoming the backing John Shannon from the Turf Management Department at the NMIT Fairfield campus stated "we need more companies like Abel Sports to support these Students who are the future of the Turf industry in Australia."
Abel Sports General Manager David Vesely added "supporting these students highlights Abel Sports' commitment to the Industry."
