AALARA launches 2022 Conference program

The Australian Amusement, Leisure and Recreation Association (AALARA) has today released the program for its 2022 Conference and Trade Showcase - being held at the Sea World Resort Conference Centre from 16th to 18th May.

Returning as a full conference event for the first time since 2019, the theme of this year's event is 'Doing Business in 2022 & Beyond' and includes a range of keynote speakers, performer panels and information sessions.

Introducing the event, AALARA Inc General Manager, Kristy Ahrens explains “following a pandemic-initiated hiatus, the AALARA22 Trade Showcase will bring you an array of industry manufacturers and suppliers across the amusement, leisure and recreation industries.

The setting for this year's Trade Showcase is a little more intimate than previous years, so be sure to book your Trade Showcase booth now to avoid disappointment.

“This is the first and best opportunity in four years to reach the key decision makers in the amusement, leisure and recreation industry.”

With 15 conference sessions, three days and three social networking functions, Ahrens notes “AALARA22 is the perfect mix of learning, growth, innovation and fun for the amusement, leisure and recreation industries.”

Among the line-up of talented and dynamic industry leaders and speakers to present leadership, educational, safety and training sessions throughout the Conference, keynote addresses will come from Michael Croaker, Head of Entertainment at Village Roadshow Theme Parks and Winter Olympics Gold Medallist Stephen Bradbury.

In addition, there are special meetings and sessions on inflatables, leadership, industry developments and engineering.

Event Safety
COVID-19 Safety Plans are in place for all in-person events and venues. All participants are to comply with the State or Territory Government protocols in place at the time the event is held. Given the evolving nature of the current COVID-19 outbreak, changes may be expected.
