AALARA announces May dates and Gold Coast venue for 2022 Conference

The Australian Amusement, Leisure and Recreation Association (AALARA) has announced that it will be staging its 2022 Conference and Trade Showcase on the Gold Coast from 16th to 18th May.

To be held at the Sea World Conference Centre, AALARA22 will represent the first coming together of AALARA members and attractions industry stakeholders since 2019 - although the Association was able to stage one day events in Melbourne, Sydney and on the Gold Coast in the first half of last year.

AALARA General Manager, Kristy Ahrens (pictured below) today advised "on behalf of AALARA President, Shane McGrath and the AALARA Board of Directors, I am delighted to invite you to join the amusement, leisure and recreation industry's premier event, the AALARA22 Conference & Trade Showcase.

"The theme of this year's Conference & Trade Showcase is 'Doing Business in 2022 & Beyond' and includes a range of keynote speakers, performer panels and information sessions.

"With an impressive line-up of talented and dynamic industry leaders and speakers to present leadership, educational, safety and training sessions throughout the Conference, you will leave with new insights, ideas and inspiration for your business to look forward to doing things differently.

"Following a pandemic-initiated hiatus, the AALARA22 Trade Showcase will bring you an array of industry manufacturers and suppliers across the amusement, leisure and recreation industries."

With COVID-19 Safety Plans in place for all in-person events and venues, participants will be required to comply with the Queensland Government protocols in place at the time the event is held, Ahrens added “given the evolving nature of the current COVID-19 outbreak, changes may be expected.”
