360 Fitness Club offers big city gym facilities in Tamworth

Since opening in April, the new 360 Fitness Club has offered a state-of-the-art aquatic, fitness and recreation facility for the Tamworth region of Northern NSW.

Developed under the guidance of Dwone Jones (‘DJ’ - pictured above), who developed his skills over 20 years in the highly-competitive New York fitness market, 360 Fitness Club first opened in 2008.

However, having grown significantly in the past six years, earlier this year the club moved from its original location to brand-new custom-built premises featuring two indoor swimming pools, three group fitness studios, an extensive gym and weight equipment area, a health clinic, cafe and creche.

With double the floor space of its original location, the club offers a range of programs and classes for the Tamworth community, with group fitness programs from Les Mills (including BodyPump, BodyStep, BodyBalance, BodyCombat and RPM), Zumba, boxing, yoga  and Spinning.

The Club’s aquatic facilities offer swimming classes for all ages -from infants through to squads, while the pool is also used for a range of aquatic fitness classes including AquaZumba.

The warm waters of 360 Fitness’ hydrotherapy pool (maintained at 32 degrees Celsius) also aid members’ mobility and muscular strength. Individual consultation is available as well as group sessions.

On the 360 Fitness Club website, DJ explains “360 Fitness Club Tamworth offers the services of a big city health club (but) without the attitude.

“(Our) success has been built on treating people with warmth and respect, members and staff are part of our 360 family.

“Fitness is fun and challenging with the huge variety of activities we offer, and our supportive and non-judgemental attitude will help you reach your goals faster.”

Membership of 360 Fitness also includes a consultation with an accredited dietary consultant to ensure members’ training is backed up with a healthy eating plan.

The Club operates with no contracts, joining fees or cancellation frees and no additional  charges with free classes, free crèche and free towel service.

360 Fitness Club’s commitment to wellness also extends beyond its members, having raised over $60,000 for local charities in the last three years.

360 Fitness Club also operates a second fitness and aquatic centre on the NSW Central Coast at Forresters Beach.
