YMCA Brisbane introduces technology to improve swim school customer service

YMCA Brisbane has joined other YMCAs from throughout Australia by implementing SwimDesk software at the Warwick Indoor Recreation and Aquatic Centre (WIRAC).

This move follows the adoption of the SwimDesk application across a number of YMCAs state bodies including YMCA Victoria, South Australia, and Tasmania.

SwimDesk will help WIRAC manage their swimming student assessments and improve communication and feedback to parents and children alike.

WIRAC Centre Manager David Jordan commented “at WIRAC our team are committed to providing high quality customer serviced based programs to our members and users.

“The Swim Desk platform is an excellent resource to add both value and service to our swimming program. Our team are genuinely excited about adding this to our LTS program which will improve efficiencies and customer service as well as enhance the communication process.”

SwimDesk allows parents to log on to their smart phone or home computer and view detailed reporting on their child's swimming lessons progress solving the age-old challenge of communicating with such a large number of parents.

Other popular functionality of the program includes the digital certificates and specialised retention reporting that result in significant time savings for users.

Currently closed for a fortnight of maintenance, WIRAC will reopen on 2nd July.
