Whittaker to Step Down
After 10 years of loyal and dedicated service, the last eight as Chief Executive of Aquatics & Recreation Victoria (the former Victorian Aquatic Industry Council), Andrew Whittaker has resigned, indicating his intention to retire from fulltime work.
Whittaker has led the organisation through its transition from the VAIC to Aquatics & Recreation Victoria and has been an advocate of the peak body's role, not just being focused on aquatics, but also on the need for it to represent the associated recreation elements of the industry that are more and more a part of the industry.
