VMS expands with contract wins
Venue management contractor Venue Management Services (VMS) is enjoying a successful 2013, expanding its growing portfolio of managed venues with two new contacts.
The Melbourne-based facility operator has taken on the management of Moonee Valley City Council's The Clocktower Centre the cornerstone of the Moonee Valley community's cultural life.
VMS has been appointed to manage the hospitality operations of the venue including the on-site cafe, catering for events from 10- 500 guests and servicing the theatre bar and kiosk.
Welcoming the venue to the VMS stable, Managing Director Saxon Mitchell stated "we simply love this grand building that presents a vibrant and exciting annual program of theatre and performing arts, comprising a jam-packed theatre season and morning music programs. We look forward to welcoming theatre patrons and the local community to our on-site cafe where we shall serve fresh gourmet produce."
Following a competitive tender process VMS has also been selected to manage a portfolio of key Gold Coast City Council venues stretching from Southport to Robina.
The venues are all multi-functional centres which offer a diversity of social, recreational and community based facilities. The venues are also available for hire by commercial groups for conferences, training or business related events.
VMS shall be providing the Gold Coast City Council with a suite of services including on-site venue management, contract cleaning services and marketing solutions to drive community and commercial business to the venues.
