VMA Industry Congress heads to the Hunter in 2011

The Venue Management Association (Asia and Pacific) [VMA] has announced that its 2011 Venue Industry Congress will be held at Cypress Lakes Resort in the New South Wales Hunter Valley.

VMA President Steve Romer and the Council of the VMA have announced that the event will be held from Sunday 15th to Wednesday 18th May 2011.

In a communication to members, VMA General Manager John Glenn explained "we look forward to providing updates on the program, speakers, pre-conference activities, showcase and sponsorship opportunities and delegate registration details over the coming months.

"We will also be sending you a very quick survey to get your input on what and who you want to see at your Congress.

"We are hoping to get a 100% return on this survey as it will help us plan this Congress and many other future VMA activities - and if you return your survey on time you will be in the running to win a great prize."

Cypress Lakes Resort is the premier regional conference, incentive and event destination in NSW, offering a superb balance of meeting and leisure facilities.

Holding its Annual Congress at the Resort marks a move by the VMA away from staging the event at convention centres in major population areas. The new venue is intended to focus delegates minds on the conference program and trade show exhibits.
