Village Roadshow Put Emphasis on School Holiday Fun

The opening of new rides and attractions are making the September school holidays one of the biggest ever at Village Roadshow's Gold Coast theme parks.
Eight new family-orientated attractions and experiences have opened at Sea World, Warner Bros. Movie World, Wert ânâ Wild Water World, the Australian Outback Spectacular and Paradise Country.
The attractions include:

Castaway Bay at Sea World

A new $6 million themed aquatic playground featuring child friendly play areas along with the 'splashtacularâ Battle Boats ride with over 80 water cannons, the five-level Sky Fortress with rope bridges, tunnels and much more, and the Sky Climb course.

Happy Feet 3-D at Sea World

A digital 3-D experience based on the popular childrenâs movie.

AquaLoop at WetânâWild

Four wew full looping transparent slides that take riders on a gut wrenching, heart-pounding and gravity-defying rider at speeds of up to 60 kilometres per hour.

FlowRider at WetânâWild

While media attention focused on the AquaLoop, WetânâWild has opened Australiaâs third FlowRider surf simulator. Located next to the Wave Pool, guests can ride the endless waves, rushing down the man-made torrent of water on a specially designed board.

Journey to the Centre of the Earth 4-D at Movie World

Journey to the Centre of the Earth 4-D is an exciting adventure based on the classic film.

Top Rail Premium Experience at Australian Outback Spectacular

A new premium experience âTop Railâ has arrived at the Australian Outback Spectacular. The all new and exclusive âTop Rail Premium Experienceâ ensures guests not only get the best seat in the house, but receive VIP treatment including meet and greet on arrival, pre show drinks, complimentary souvenir program, complimentary souvenir photograph, 3 course meal and first-class beverages during the show.

New Aussie Farmyard at Paradise Country

Paradise Countryâs newest addition âThe Aussie Farmyardâ allows children to get up close and personal to baby animals of all shapes and sizes including lambs, chickens, calves and piglets. The Aussie Farmyard includes an interactive educational area where kids can draw pictures of the animals they have encountered, and add their drawings to the picture wall or take them home as a token of their special day.

Brand New Kids Club at Sea World Resort

The award winning Sea World Resort & Water Park has unveiled its new âKids Clubâ.

With eight of the latest X Box 360 stations, a movie theatre regularly screening childrenâs movies, fuseball and a host of fun and fabulous games and activities like face-painting, arts and craft and team sports; the kids club is the icing on the cake for every childâs dream theme park holiday.

Speaking of the attractions, a Village Roadshow spokesperson explained âthe best way to experience theme park holiday fun is with the VIP Pass, which provides unlimited entry to Sea World, Movie World and WetânâWild Water World until 30th June 30, 2011.?
