Victorian BFT Studios team up with Polished Man for fundraiser challenge
Australia’s fastest growing fitness franchise, Body Fit Training (BFT) has advised that a number of its Victorian BFT Studios are supporting the Polished Man campaign via a new high-energy challenge to help end violence against women and children in Australia.
Polished Man's mission is simple yet impactful. Participants are encouraged to sign up and paint one nail, traditionally blue, or any colour they choose as a symbol of solidarity and a catalyst for conversation. But it’s more than a painted nail. It’s a visible pledge to stand against the abuse and trauma experienced by countless women and children. Every conversation, every donation, and every painted nail helps fund life-changing initiatives via Polished Innovators, a grassroots program that prevent violence before it begins.
This year’s BFT campaign follows the success of BFT Hawthorn’s 2024 fundraiser, which raised over $11,500 for Polished Man.
On 23rd August, the select BFT studios will host a 6-Hour Sprint Event, inviting their members and guests to come together, raise funds, and push themselves for a powerful cause.
The concept is simple but powerful: teams of 10 will take turns on the Ski Erg machine, each team given just one hour to push themselves as far as they can. With all entry fees donated directly to Polished Man, BFT studios will go head-to-head in a friendly competition to see who can sprint the furthest, all in support of ending violence against women and children.
Polished Man Ambassador and Co-Owner at BFT Hawthorn Jacob Carroll noted “after seeing the impact our local community had last year, we knew we had to go even bigger in 2025. There’s something powerful about sweating it out alongside your team, knowing every metre you push makes a real difference. Our members don’t just show up to train — they show up to stand for something.”
Confirmed participating studios include: BFT Hawthorn, BFT Docklands, BFT Wangaratta, BFT Collingwood, BFT Preston, BFT Traralgon, BFT Altona North, BFT Hoppers Crossing.
