VenuesLive selected as preferred operator of Central Coast Stadium
VenuesLive has advised of its selection as the preferred operator of Gosford’s Central Coast Stadium and has entered into commercial negotiations with Central Coast Council for the future management of the stadium.
One of the most picturesque venues in the world, the purpose-built 20,060 capacity rectangular stadium sits on the banks of Brisbane Water, with the open ended southern end of the ground offering sweeping views of the waterway and the NSW Central Coast.
The Stadium is home to the Central Coast Mariners Football Club competing in the A-Leagues and has previously hosted National Rugby League and Super Rugby/TRC games, along with other sport and entertainment events.
VenuesLive’s management follow the Central Coast Council issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for the management of the Stadium in July 2021 (advertised on this website).
VenuesLive advises that it “is committed to ‘Creating The Experience’ and connecting people through the power of live events, noting that it "focuses on orchestrating remarkable experiences for the fans, venue owners, event partners and the local community."
