Upgraded Derrimut 24:7 Gym becomes South Australia's largest fitness space

A range of new additions, including a doubling in size of its ladies' space, has seen Derrimut 24:7 Gym - Windsor Gardens become the largest fitness club in South Australia.

Sited in the north-eastern suburbs of Adelaide, the facility is moving beyond the Derrimut group's body-building origins to become a contemporary fitness and lifestyle space with Reformer Pilates, a combine fitness testing facility/area, an outdoor hybrid training area, virtual and physical group fitness facilities/classes, a small basketball court, a powerlifting area, as well as extra car parking, extra strength equipment, extra cardio equipment and a bigger functional space while its ladies’ gym is doubling in size to 500 metre².

Introducing the expansion, Phil Im - Derrimut’s Head of Marketing, told Glam Adelaide “the upgrade has been a long time coming with the number of members growing and we were running out of space at one point.

“So our members have spoken and we’ve listened."

The Windsor Gardens upgrades point to the future of the group, with Derrimut aiming to have 300 gyms operating locally and internationally by 2030.

Commenting on the fit out, which includes a range of Life Fitness and Hammer Strength equipment, Life Fitness SA Commercial Sales Consultant, Trent Thompson wrote on social media “(this is) the largest gym … (it) is massive and filled wall to wall with #lifefitness and #hammerstrength equipment.”
