Derrimut 24:7 Gym announces two year sponsorship with NBL’s Adelaide 36ers

The Derrimut 24:7 Gym group, which operates more than 20 sites in South Australia and Victoria, has become a partner of the Adelaide 36ers NBL squad.

Becoming an official club partner for the next two seasons, the sponsorship is part of the group’s plans to expand in South Australia.

The deal will see the fitness operator establish a new facility at the Adelaide 36ers Arena which will be specialised for the 36ers’ strength and conditioning.

Announcing the sponsorship, Adelaide 36ers Chief Commercial Officer John Tsianos said the club is proud to partner with a business which has an outstanding philosophy to offer exceptional customer service, a welcome environment and offer a great fitness experience.

Tsianos advised “this is a true partnership in every sense of the word. The facility at the Adelaide 36ers Arena will be bespoke and tailored to our needs. It is fantastic to be part of Derrimut’s’ journey in South Australia.”

Tsianos added that during discussions about Derrimut 24:7 Gym establishing a strength and conditioning facility at the Adelaide 36ers Arena the potential for the gym group to become a club sponsor emerged.

Derrimut 24:7 Gym owner Nicolas Solomos is thrilled to be aligning with the Adelaide 36ers and is looking forward to the season ahead, noting “we’ve seen South Australia as a state of opportunity and growth and this partnership will show how dedicated we are to this community.

Derrimut 24:7 Gym was reportedly introduced to the club by the Pelligra Group, owner of the Adelaide 36ers Arena where the club has its headquarters and training hub.

Derrimut 24:7 Gym has a vision to have 300 gyms operating worldwide by 2030, creating opportunities while striving to be the industry leader within health and fitness.

Adelaide 36ers members will receive exclusive Derrimut 24:7 Gym offers through the club’s digital platforms and the Derrimut 24:7 Gym logo will be seen on the club’s home and away playing shorts for the next two seasons.

Derrimut 24:7 Gym was Melbourne United's official gym partner for the 2021 NBL season.
