Tullah Gym opens for Tasmania’s West Coast community
Tasmania’s West Coast community has welcomed Council’s opening of their newly finished gym project in Tullah.
Acting Mayor Shane Pitt was joined by the local community to open the facility which aims to contribute to increasing the health, active living, and wellbeing for members of the community.
Membership allows access to all four Council operated gyms in Queenstown, Rosebery, Zeehan and Tullah.
The project has been undertaken in line with Council’s Sport & Recreation Plan and the West Coast Community Plan 2025.
The Tasmanian Community Fund contributed $45,865.00 towards the project.
