First FITEX Conference to be staged in Tasmania

Set to be staged this Friday, Tasmania’s first major fitness conference, the Tasmanian FitEx convention, is looking to present delegates with key information with essential information to stay ahead of the game in one of the most competitive fitness Industries in Australia.

Being held at the RACT Hobart Apartment Hotel, the conference aims to provide support, education, motivation and networking opportunities for gym owners, large and small, as well as managers, personal trainers, big gym operators, boutique fitness operators and fitness professionals, covering all things fitness related, key elements to marketing and strategies that professionals will be able to take home to help grow their businesses.

FitEx organiser Kirri Brazendale explains "this is the first of its type in Tasmania, it is unique in what it is, and your very own pot of gold for your business, your journey and your success.

“Here at FitEx, we understand that whether you have been in business for a month, a year or century, and whether you’re a big gym, a little gym or a sole trader, you need (and deserve) the practical information, advice and support to succeed, and paying thousands of dollars to fly interstate and attend long conferences isn’t always practical.

“We invite fitness professionals, group instructors, personal trainers and business owners/managers, from all over the state to put this event in their diary.”

Event speakers include:

• Former AFL star and inspirational speaker Alastair Lynch, triple time premiership winner, suffered a career threatening illness - Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS). 
• Tanya Poppett - fitness instructor and online blogger with over 425,000 followers. She specialises in high-intensity functional and strength training. 
• Ben Crowley - Tasmanian entrepreneurs and founder and Managing Director of Bulk Nutrients, Bioflex Nutrition and Southern Nutrition.  
• Sport marketing expert Brodie West.
• Chantal Brodrick, host of The Fitness Business Podcast.

FitEx is being held at the RACT Hobart Apartment Hotel.
