TSG launches PerfectMind business management platform

Global software and payments provider TSG has today launched PerfectMind, a cloud-based, all-in-one business management platforms for aquatic, recreation and sport facilities.

Introducing the platform, TSG say that PerfectMind can help providers save up to 20% of time spent on administration and processing payments and member fees, facilitate online bookings, manage facilities efficiently, and deliver an improved experience to customers.

Advising that PerfectMind is designed to meet all the current and future needs of local aquatic, recreation and sport facilities, Michelle Furniss TSG Chief Commercial Officer for Health and Fitness for Australia/New Zealand, stated “until now, the leisure industry in Australia has struggled to keep pace with technological innovation.

“In fact, many leisure facilities across the country still use pen and paper registration forms and are still grappling with changing customer behaviours as well as new booking and payment preferences.

“PerfectMind will usher the leisure industry into the 21st century by making facilities easier to run, reduce time invested in administration, and offer a better, more intuitive booking and payment experience for the customer, which in turn will help facilities managers increase bookings and improve retention rates.”

PerfectMind is designed to make day-to-day operations simple, quick and easy by automating administration tasks and custom workflows. Along with unlimited user licenses, leisure centres will also no longer waste time switching between applications, making manual updates or processing member bookings and payments - now they can use a single software platform to efficiently run their centre.

The solution is also uniquely designed to support swim schools and recreation programs with a dedicated portal for members to book classes, access payment information, and keep track of overall skills progress, grading and competencies during activity programs.

PerfectMind’s first Australian user is the City of Canada Bay, in Sydney’s inner west of Sydney. With a population of almost 100,000 local residents it provides a variety of sports and recreation services, for whom it previously managedbookings in-person, rather than online.

Commenting on the new platform, Marissa Earle, Operations and Business Improvement Coordinator, City of Canada Bay Council, stated “being able to offer online memberships and class bookings is an important part of being a modern local leisure centre. PerfectMind is a proven all-in-one solution, offering everything we will need to run our facilities easily and effectively, saving up to 20% less time on the manual processing and admin tasks our teams currently handle.

“We want our local community to be able to access our sports and recreation services quickly and easily, PerfectMind will allow us to do that."

Following City of Canada Bay, several other Australian clients have also selected PerfectMind to replace their existing management software, to streamline operations across their facilities and deliver a superior online booking experience for customers.

Originally developed as a martial arts software solution in 1998, PerfectMind is a leading business management software provider for the parks and recreation market in North America, and serves 7,400 leisure and recreation sites across 11 countries, facilitating over 26 million bookings every year.

This week has also seen TSG advise of its acquisition of Adaptive Analytics LLC, a leading provider of data analytics and visualisation tools for the health, wellbeing and fitness industries.
