Trans-Tasman solo rower Shaun Quincey joins Debitsuccess

Shaun Quincey, who in 2010 famously rowed across the Tasman Sea solo at age 25, has begun a new role as National Business Development Manager for payment solutions company Debitsuccess.
Quincey joins the company having spent the last 12 months travelling the world presenting at over 200 events, spreading his passion for both adventuring and business.
Quincey started his career developing his own unique advertising business, QMedia, capturing the exclusive space on the side of takeaway coffee cups. With 35,000 cups purchased daily and a distribution network of 135 cafés in Auckland, it was a great success.
An Australian company eventually purchased the business, providing Quincey with the capital to pursue his dream of rowing across the Tasman. His epic voyage took three years of planning and 54 days of rowing across the most dangerous ocean in the world.
Quincey comes from a family with a long history of adventuring. In 1977, Colin Quincey, Shaun's father, became the first man to row solo from New Zealand to Australia in 63 days.
Shaun says he is thrilled to now be working on developing the New Zealand business of Debitsuccess, stating "Debitsuccess, as a 100% New Zealand owned business, is still experiencing massive growth and expanding into a wide range of industries because of its market-leading products, which is an exciting prospect.
"I am incredibly passionate about growing New Zealand businesses with Debitsuccess and I believe we can be an essential partner to any growth-oriented business or organisation."
Debitsuccess Operations Manager Wayne Pointon says Shaun will be a valuable asset to the company, adding "it's really great to have someone with such a variety of experience and depth of knowledge, and Shaun's first hand experience of local and international business will prove invaluable.
"More importantly, Shaun has shown that he has the drive to set and achieve some remarkable goals, and is keen to share this with the businesses he brings on board with Debitsuccess. We are excited about the added value this brings to our existing client base as well as those future relationships."
