Tough Mudder to hold first event in Bali

World-renowned endurance events company Tough Mudder has announced the staging of its first events in Asia, beginning with Tough Mudder Bali on 1st and 2nd October.

Due to take place in the scenic Jimbaran region in the south of Bali, Tough Mudder Bali will offer one of the most picturesque locations that the series has ever visited.

However, organisers promise that the 16 kilometre course will be no less challenging, featuring obstacles that emphasise teamwork and camaraderie and will test physical and mental strength.

Announcing the Bali even, Tough Mudder, Inc. Chief Executive and founder Will Dean stated “we’re thrilled to bring the Tough Mudder experience to South East Asia for the first time with our debut event in Bali.

“Since the beginning, Tough Mudder has always been about creating life-changing experiences, and as a company we are committed to bringing that experience to thousands of new Mudders.

“We look forward to bringing Tough Mudder to such an iconic location in 2016, as well as expanding the company’s footprint into Asia through our partnership with Seroja.

The event will be taking place in Jimbaran Hijau, an integrated development aiming to make a mark through inclusive, vibrant, creative and community-oriented green lifestyle.

Situated among pristine forests, scenic flatlands and epic cliffs hugging the ocean, Jimbaran Hijau will offer a truly unique Tough Mudder experience, combining the philosophies of Jimbaran Hijau and Tough Mudder.

These philosophies, fully aligned in this inaugural event, bring together a health-driven community to create a ‘Live, Work & Play’ environment amid Bali’s striking natural beauty.

The diverse landscape will bring a unique set of challenges to the participants, making the inaugural Tough Mudder Bali event as exhilarating as it is arduous.
