Tixserve makes Global Head of Revenue appointment
Tixserve has announced the appointment of Ian Davis as Global Head of Revenue.
The former Chief Commercial and Engagement Officer at the Football Association of Wales where he worked for over 12 years driving transformational change across the organisation, Davis will be leveraging his sports industry knowledge to seize new business opportunities for Tixserve and maximise revenue streams.
Having held senior roles specialising in growing commercial revenue streams within the sports sector, Davis will complement this experience with the unique ability to engage with sports event organisers regarding the practical business benefits of using the Tixserve digital ticket fulfilment service as a previous user of Tixserve at the Football Association of Wales.
Davis’ appointment is part of the company’s strategic growth plans with continued investment in talent development, partnerships and service delivery innovation to drive exceptional results with existing and new clients.
Commenting on the appointment, Patrick Kirby, Managing Director of Tixserve, advised “Ian is joining Tixserve to lead growth at an exciting stage in our company’s growth trajectory.
“His combined knowledge of both the Tixserve product and the sports industry’s needs go hand in hand with Tixserve’s client-led focus, making him an excellent choice to help accelerate our growth into the future. I look forward to working closely with him.”
Looking forward to his new role, Davis (pictured) commented “I am thrilled to be joining Tixserve and to continue adding value to event organisers and rights owners. I look forward to working with the ambitious, talented and collaborative Tixserve team and to ramp up the company’s already impressive growth momentum.”
