Ticketek agrees five-year Melbourne Racing Club ticketing deal

The Melbourne Racing Club (MRC) has today announced that it has sealed a five-year agreement with Ticketek that will see the TEG owned ticketing platform help the Caulfield Racecourse’s development as a sport, events and entertainment precinct.

The deal was announced to coincide with the release of tickets on general sale for the 2023 Caulfield Cup Carnival, which will span race days through October, November and December.

This year’s Caulfield Cup Carnival has expanded and includes Neds Caulfield Guineas Day on Saturday 14th October, Caulfield Spring Race Day on Wednesday 18th October, and Caulfield Cup Day on Saturday 21st October while Schweppes Thousand Guineas Day on Saturday 18th November and Zipping Classic Day on Saturday 2nd December are now part of the celebrations.

Pleased to partner with Melbourne Racing Club to exclusively sell GA ticketing for 2023 Caulfield Cup Carnival, future race days and events, Ticketek’s Managing Director, Cameron Hoy stated “our partnership will provide MRC customers with a seamless user-friendly experience from the moment of purchase to stepping through the racecourse gates.

“Customers can look forward to world-class content, exclusive access to premium racing and non-racing events and entertainment across all three MRC venues.”

Commenting on the agreement, MRC Chairman Matt Cain added “from the heroes of the home straight to playful fashion that celebrates all genders and looks, a multitude of trackside experiences and unbeatable hospitality will keep racegoers entertained throughout the day.

“Even waiting in line for a drink will become an unforgettable experience for racegoers, with fascinating art displays, roaming performances, and more.”

The racetrack offers premium experiences via a Champagne House, Bar Aperitivo and The Avenue, as well as a general admission area.

A not-for-profit members club with over 14,000 members, the MRC conducts more than 75 race meetings annually across three racetracks in Victoria - Caulfield, Mornington and Ladbrokes Park (Sandown).
