Ticketing Professionals to Gather on the Gold Coast
Details of the 2009 Ticketing Professionals Conference have been announced.
With the theme âStrike Gold: Mining Box Office Knowledgeâ this fifth Australian Ticketing Professionals Conference will be held between 11th and 13th February 2009 at the Gold Coast Arts Centre.
Digital media entrepreneur Tony Faure previously Regional Vice President, Yahoo (South East Asia) and most recently Chief Executive of ninemsn has been confirmed as a speaker at the event. Tony will address the topic 'What we can Learn from Other Industries' bringing a wealth of relevant and unique experience to his address.
Other speakers include information and knowledge management specialist Beth Aplin; Rae Bassett, Audience Development Manager of the Queensland Performing Arts Centre; Merryn Carter, Project Manager, Australia Council for the Arts; John Paul Fishbach of Auspicious Arts; Amalia Hordern, Customer Services Manager, The Australian Ballet; Craig McMaster, Chief Executive, The Showbiz Group; Tim Munro, Chief Executive Officer, Theatre Royal; Stuart Nicolle, Managing Director of Purple Seven - developers of Vital Statistics audience analysis tools; Tina Rettke, Customer Services Manager, Geelong Performing Arts Centre and Tim Roberts, Principal Consultant, ARTS Australia. Roberts is also the Chair of the Conference Committee.
Ticketing Professionals 2008 Conference, held at the Arts Centre in Melbourne in February was attended by 120 ticketing professionals. Its âCRM: a box office headache or a marriage made in heaven?â is complemented by the theme for the 2009 event.
