Fitness Business Sales makes latest team appointment
The rapid expansion of specialist industry consultancy Fitness Business Sales has seen the appointment, just six months after launching, of Jason Laurence as a Senior Advisor.
Announcing the appointment, Damien Bain, co-founder and Director of Fitness Business Sales (FBS), advised “Jason Laurence is widely regarded as a leading authority in franchise sales and health club growth.
“He has been involved in all aspects of business operations and brings to our team, valuable skills ranging from business acquisition to franchise sales.”
With Laurence’s experiences include working in franchising, having had several roles in the ‘big box’ club and functional strength arena, and experience with large brands like Fitness First, Bain added “he has also been a keynote speaker at Asia Pacific Fitness Conference in the Indian city of Mumbai, as well as countless other speaking engagements across Australia and New Zealand, on all things fitness business.
“I’m really excited to welcome Jason to the team.
“Primarily, he will be focusing on franchise recruitment, to bring on the new green field sites. He’ll also be working on the exit side of the business, assisting current health club owners with their exit strategies and sales.”
FBS now works with some major franchise groups in Australia such as Fitstop, Infinite Cycle and Fitness Cartel. They also recently partnered exclusively with Evolution Wellness to launch in Australia, the brand Fire Fitness.
It has expertise in providing proven strategies for franchise growth, profitable sales of health club, start-ups as well as advice for growth and exit and broker services.
