TGI Sport appoints new general manager of live

Media agency TGI Sport has announced that event, stadium and operational expert Belinda Keay has been appointed as its new General Manager of Live - a role in which she will be leading the business’ Major Events, Brand Activations and Premium Hospitality team.

Stepping into the senior leadership position with more than 20 years experience, Keay (pictured) will be also joined by Charlotte Fetherston-Godley and Belinda Kelso who have both received internal promotions and will move into the new roles of Head of Brand Melbourne and Head of Brand Sydney, respectively.

In addition to the new appointments and as part of TGI Sport’s commitment to employee development, TGI has launched a bespoke in-house up-skill program that is exclusive for its employees, driven by the belief that the company has the best creative, strategic and executional minds in the business.

Titled ‘Playbook’ TGI Sport believes to be at our best we must always grow our skills and the nine-month sports marketing training program invented for our people, by our people, sees team members completing unique modules that ensure they are learning across all areas of the industry not just the role they are performing.

Playbook sees participants learn about all areas of the industry from creative, partnerships, communications, event management, commercial & client strategy, financial and business management and how to be the best presenter they can be to own the room.

Furthermore, Playbook allows TGI Sport senior team members to draw upon and share their wide pool of business knowledge to upskill the next generation of sports marketing professionals to be the best version of their professional self and expediate their career development.
