Melbourne sport marketing conference to address best practice and emerging trends
Attracting senior figures from some of the biggest brands in Australian and world sport, the upcoming Money In Sport conference aims to unite industry leaders and brand marketers and venture into the heart of the business plans of some of the most active brands in sport.
Examining the business of sport through the insights of 25 guest speakers and panelists, the event will include an address from Tom Payne, the man responsible for luring David Beckham from the world’s biggest football club, Real Madrid, to the lesser known MLS franchise, LA Galaxy.
Organised by Melbourne-based Tribal Sports Group, the conference is being held at Etihad Stadium on Tuesday 17th March and Wednesday 18th March.
Explaining the development of the event, Tribal Sports Group, General Manager - Marketing, Robert Kufersin told Australasian Leisure Management "the inaugural Money in Sport conference has been pieced together to bring senior figures from some of the biggest brands in Australian and world sport, under the one roof to address best practices and emerging trends in sports marketing.
"It is being staged right in between the Australian Formula 1 Grand Prix and ICC Cricket World Cup here in Melbourne and that has been done by design to maximise the attendance of delegates from interstate and abroad"
"We are hoping to see a wide cross section of the sport business community from all different types of industry either in sport or exposed to sport"
"I think delegates will be impressed with the quality of speakers and panels that we have assembled which will no doubt help with tremendous networking opportunities that conferences naturally deliver."
A forum for both personal and commercial growth, Money In Sport also provides a platform of networking opportunities with key individuals who have mastered the art of making money in sport.
