Telstra loyalty program partners with BangTango ticketing
Telstra's new customer loyalty program is to offer pre-sale concert ticket access.
In partnership with new live ticketing company BangTango, Telstra customers will get exclusive access to reserved concert tickets at least 48 hours ahead of the general public.
The loyalty program, 'Thanks', already offers customers access to an exclusive range of movie offers, including $10 cinema tickets.
Telstra Director of One to One Marketing, Nick Adams, said the music ticket partnership with BangTango gives Telstra customers unique access to big name artists and music experiences, stating "This deal will give our customers access to the pre-sale window for more than 20 concerts throughout the year.
"These concerts will be a mix of chart toppers like Olly Murs as well as big hitting artists and Aussie music greats.
"Customers will also have the chance to access money-can't-buy experiences like meeting big name artists, backstage access, signed merchandise and music memorabilia.
"We value our customers, and to thank them we wanted to give them access to the best entertainment experience in Australia. The program has been designed to recognise and reward customer loyalty, it's the next phase in Telstra's strategy to put the customer at the centre of everything and drive customer advocacy."
Adams said it was important that the 'Thanks' program offered customers rewards that were tangible and immediately redeemable.
"We are committed to building a rewards program that gives our customers unique access to the types of entertainment we all love - we began with movies, today we are announcing music, and we will have more exciting rewards announcements to come."
BangTango's Founder and Director, Daniel Popic, said the company was excited to be supporting Telstra in this new initiative, adding "by working together we will be able to offer Telstra customers a truly unique music experience giving them access to some of the best international and domestic live music events to hit Australian shores.
