TEG welcomes Order of Australia award for Paul Dainty
Geoff Jones, Chief Executive of leading ticketing, live content and data analytics company TEG, has congratulated Paul Dainty on his Order of Australia honour in the Queen’s Birthday Honours list.
Commenting on the award, Jones stated “Paul is truly a doyen of the music industry and the Order of Australian honour is worthy recognition of his 40-year contribution.
“I have had the pleasure of working in business with Paul for many years and of course the Dainty Group became part of the TEG family a year ago. He remains a sharp businessman with fabulous relationships across the global music and theatre industries.”
Dainty has been appointed as a Member in the General Division of the Order of Australia (AM) for “significant service to the entertainment industry as a producer and promoter of national concert tours, theatre and events”.
Dainty AM is President and Chief Executive of TEG Dainty.
Having been promoting and producing live entertainment across Australasia since the early 1970s, he was recognised by the highly acclaimed SportBusiness International magazine as one of world’s 20 most influential promoters and recently ranked by Billboard Magazine as the fifth largest promoter in the world.
He joined TEG in 2016 when Dainty Group International was acquired, bringing an unparalleled experience in touring some of the world’s biggest acts. The Dainty ledger includes Katy Perry, Michael Bublé, Bon Jovi, Eminem, Neil Diamond, The Rolling Stones, Paul McCartney, U2, Duran Duran, and Guns N’ Roses among an array of stars.
