Technogym Australia names new National Key Accounts Manager
Technogym, a leading global provider of innovative and engaging wellness solutions for physical exercise, has announced the appointment of Chris Ablett to the position of Technogym Australia National Key Accounts Manager.
With a Business Degree in Marketing from Swinburne University, Ablett began his sales career in communications with Salmat.
However, a passion for health and fitness attracted him into the fitness industry, first as a Personal Trainer from 2003 (he has Certificate 3 & 4 in Fitness qualifications), and then equipment sales consultant in 2005 for another provider, where he was successful in helping the company reach its targets. In 2009, he joined Technogym, where he has served as one of Technogym's two Victorian based Sales Consultants.
In his new role, Ablett will succeed Nick Aspinall, who, in undertaking two roles within the company, has served as National Key Accounts Manager since February 2007.
With this announcement Aspinall will now focus more on his role as National Sales and Marketing Director in the clubs and public authorities segment.
Commenting on Chris Ablett's new role, Aspinall stated "we are delighted that Chris Ablett has agreed to take on the role of National Key Accounts Manager at Technogym Australia.
"He is a seasoned sales executive with significant experience in the fitness industry and we feel he is highly qualified to look after our global key accounts locally and to develop the local key account portfolio assisting the company through the next stages of its growth strategy."
Technogym Australia Managing Director Jim Farnham added "Key Accounts Manager is a crucial role in our business and I have no doubt in my mind that Chris Ablett is the right man to step into this position.
"Chris' results in winning business and nurturing local accounts in his current role at Technogym have been outstanding.
"In particular, we in the management team believe that Nick Aspinall and Chris Ablett represent an unrivaled sales team that will enable the company to drive continued strong operational performance by delivering innovative wellness solutions to our customers."
