S.R.Smith expands product range for Australian aquatic facilities

Since acquiring the distribution rights for Anti Wave International aquatic products in Australia and selected Asia-Pacific markets in late 2013, S.R.Smith has been expanding its portfolio of competitive swimming products under the Anti Wave and its own brands.

Launching its first S.R.Smith Australia catalogue (featuring its commercial and residential products) and a new website last year, the business is keen to expand in supplying both commercial and residential markets.

With Anti Wave products a cornerstone of the S.R.Smith range, pool equipment such as Anti Wave starting blocks remain a popular centerpiece of leading Australian aquatic facilities for years.

The current Anti Wave 800 (pictured above) includes an adjustable, FINA-approved track start and SafeStart handles, first showcased in the Water Cube in the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. SafeStart handles provide both faster and safer starts, and have been especially helpful to younger children, seniors and para-athletes.

S.R.Smith have also introduced their own range of accessibility equipment to the Australian market.

This includes the:

• PAL2 portable, free-standing and battery-operated pool lift (pictured below);
• Mesh Pool Lift Sling Seat;
• Mobile Aquatic Chair (MAC) essential for facilities utilising a ramp, zero-depth entry or movable floor, the MAC is built specifically for use in aquatic environments.
• Splash! Lift (also available in an Extended Reach version) installs onto a pool deck via anchor, and can be easily removed with the included caddy. 

Last year also saw S.R.Smith Australia relocate from Ipswish to a new Australian base at 12 Enterprise Street, Richlands QLD 4077.
