Tech company Entegy goes global with partner support

Since its launch in 2014, Brisbane-based tech company, Entegy has grown its team of nine into a team of 25 experts, powering what is now a global tech company, supported by an entire international network of reputable partners.

Entegy’s core business is the Entegy Suite—a powerful industry-leading event technology platform that allows event professionals to streamline event communications, drive stronger engagement and simplify logistics. The platform provides the framework for partners to re-sell the software to clients through Entegy’s Partner Program.

Today, the company has 53 partners across 6 continents working with some of the largest and most innovative events, companies and brands globally. Brisbane owned, built and operated; the Entegy Suite is now used by millions of people worldwide.

Entegy’s co-founder and Director, Graeme Caplen-Black is pleased with how far the company has come in such a short time, commenting "our success comes from having a great product, and dedicated partners all over the world offering innovative solutions to events of all shapes and sizes.

“We also have an incredibly motivated team who have worked very hard to manage the growth of our Partner Program.

“Having proven the product and built a network of loyal partners, we are now focused on scaling the Entegy Suite globally through our partner program.”

The company launched its partner program in 2017 which saw them expand into USA, New Zealand, Netherlands, Belgium, Ireland and Germany in its first year. This year, Entegy has further expanded into Brazil, Spain, Canada and UAE, and revenue for the program has grown as much as 280% year on year.

One of Entegy’s partners is Eventbrite who now offers the suite across eight countries. Eventbrite’s Senior Vice President of Global Sales and Services, Phil Silverstone says the partnership with Entegy means they can provide the latest event solutions to their customers.

Silverstone advised "we were looking for a local partner who understood the unique needs of event organisers and could integrate seamlessly with the Eventbrite platform to create a truly end-to-end event solution.

“Entegy was a game-changer for us, offering a suite of powerful features that extend the functionality of the Eventbrite platform and help us better serve the end-to-end needs of event creators and conference attendees alike."

The suite has also supported large-scale events like the G20 Summit in Brisbane, and well-known brands like Eventbrite, Monash, Arinex and Queensland Tourism, just to name a few.

The Queensland Tourism Industry Council’s Deputy Chief Executive, Brett Kapernick says QTIC was thrilled to work with a local business in the event technology space and will be using the Entegy Suite again this year.

Kapernick added “the Queensland Tourism Industry Council is thrilled to see a local business at the forefront of event technology in Australia and now competing on a global scale.

“The Entegy Suite presented an innovative opportunity to showcase sponsors and award winners at the 2018 Queensland Tourism Awards gala dinner and will again be used for the 2019 Awards. This is the first time we have used an event app for the gala dinner, and it was well-received by over 900 guests who used the app to check seating allocations and the order of proceedings.”

Entegy is now on track to supporting more than 2,000 events worldwide in 2019, and with more than 50% of the events now being international, Entegy is opening an office in Amsterdam in 2020 to cater for the international demand.

Together with five European partners, the team will head to London to show-off their software at the Event Tech Live exhibition running on the 6th and 7th November at the Old Truman Brewery.

The exhibition is dedicated to showcasing event technology from across Europe.
