Sydneysiders urged to mark their diary for the Royal Easter Show
The Royal Agricultural Society of NSW has released details of the 2015 Sydney Royal Easter Show, inviting Sydney residents to be prepared for Australia’s biggest celebration of the country in the city.
To be held at the Sydney Showground in Sydney Olympic Park from 26th March to 8th April, the Show will bring the best of the country to the heart of the city; celebrating excellence in Australian agriculture and showcasing the heroes and characters that bring this landmark event to life.
Inviting showgoers to experience the best Australia has to offer all in the one place, Royal Agricultural Society of NSW Chief Executive Michael Kenny states “the Show is an exciting mix of animals and agriculture, entertainment and pavilions, and when you add the carnival rides, evening fireworks spectacular, Sydney Royal award-winning produce and the showbags, you have an event on a scale that cannot be seen anywhere else in Australia.
“Embracing time honoured traditions firmly ingrained in Australian agriculture; the Show brings the country to the city, including Show favourites woodchop, sheep shearing, the District Exhibits and our most popular family attraction, the Farmyard Nursery.
“With international judges and world class competitors involved in the prestigious Sydney Royal Competitions, the 2015 Show promises to be full of engaging, educational and entertaining experiences for everyone.”
Tickets for the 2015 Sydney Royal Easter Show go on sale as of 4th February next year. All tickets include return public transport.
