Sydney's harbourside attractions push for shuttle boat

Sydney's harbourside attractions are pushing for a hop-on-hop-off boat similar to the iconic red double-decker buses that travel around Sydney.
Responding to a NSW Government call for expressions of interest from private operators to come up with new routes to improve harbour services, TTF Australia (Tourism Transport Forum) has suggested a 'hopper' ferry service that takes locals and visitors to the harbour's key tourist attractions and islands, including Luna Park Sydney, Taronga Zoo and Manly.
Luna Park Sydney Managing Director Peter Hearne is backing the proposal telling Sydney newspaper The Daily Telegraph "we support it wholeheartedly. It's a great idea - the harbour is the main target area for tourists.
"It would be a bit like the red buses. Everyone knows they zigzag across the city and you can jump on and jump off at all the tourist sights."
