Sydney Entertainment Centre to host VMA After Five event

The Venue Management Association [Asia and Pacific] (VMA) is to stage its latest 'After 5' function at the Sydney Entertainment Centre (SEC) on Wednesday 22nd May 2013.

The function will be addressed by AEG Ogden Chairman and Chief Executive Harvey Lister who will introduce the new International Convention Centre Sydney (ICC Sydney) project, part of the Sydney International Convention, Exhibition and Entertainment Precinct (SICEEP).

As part of the Destination Sydney consortium which is developing SICEEP, AEG Ogden will assume management of the SEC at the end of the year and will operate the venue until its demolition.

The VMA event at the SEC will probably be the Association's final function while the arena is the responsibility of its current management, headed by SEC General Manager Steve Romer.

The event is being held in The MuSEC Room from 5.30pm to 7:30pm.

Limited car parking for the event will be available in the SEC Service Yard.

Guests of VMA members are welcome.
