Sydney BridgeClimb makes Lonely Planet top 10
Sydney's BridgeClimb attraction has been named as one of the world's top 10 Biggest Adrenaline Rush Experiences, by travel guide company, Lonely Planet.
The company has compiled a list of 1,000 Ultimate Experiences, which also includes bull running in Pamplona, Spain and rock climbing in the Yosemite Valley in the US.
Todd Coates, Managing Director of BridgeClimb Sydney, said "this accolade is a tribute to the many climbers from around the globe who have given BridgeClimb the chance to create for them an unforgettable memory of the world famous Sydney Harbour Bridge."
Almost 2.5 million people from around the world have climbed the Harbour Bridge since the experience opened in 1998.
The latest Lonely Planet content is now also featured on the new tourism website for the region created by the ASEAN Tourism Association.
Lonely Planet has supplied destination profiles for 10 ASEAN member countries: Brunei, Cambodia, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Richard Samson, Lonely Planet's General Manager Asia Pacific explains "our digital content encourages this exploration with a huge range of information, from local history and culture, to specific places to eat, shop and rest.
"The site allows travellers to research, plan, book and discuss a wide range travel experiences across the region."
