Swimming Australia launch new SwimAus wear range for Dolphin fans

Looking to diversify revenue streams, Swimming Australia have today launched their new SwimAus supporter wear range for Dolphins fans with the range available through an online platform just in time for Christmas.

The licensed range is a further development in the commercial strategy for Swimming Australia, to support the sport enjoyed by 1 in 5 Australians.

Working in conjunction with Australian company Badge of Honour, who boast more than 25 years’ experience in the domestic and international sporting apparel business, Swimming Australia’s launch of its supporter wear has been four months in the making.

The two businesses originally worked together to deliver a bespoke supporter clothing range for the return of Duel in the Pool in August, and further developed the products after recognising the opportunity for fans and the swimming community to show their passion and support for the sport.

With T-shirts, jumpers, caps and accessories now available through an online platform on the Swimming Australia website, the licensed range caters for adults and kids and make for the perfect Christmas gift for any passionate Dolphins supporter.

Swimming Australia’s Executive General Manager Commercial and Marketing, Jodie Hawkins, said the new supporter wear and launch of the online store were key components in the continued growth of the brand.

Hawkins advised “Apparel is the best way for our community and fans to show their support and passion for swimming and we are delighted to release this exciting new range, just in time for Christmas.

“We have started with some popular classic and look forward to working with our Dolphins supporters to see how the range can grow and develop over time. Following the success of the bespoke range we produced for Duel in the Pool, we are confident this will be just as popular.

“We are constantly exploring different ways to build and diversify revenue for our sport and a range of licensed products was a natural next step in that journey.”

Christmas orders from the new store will need to be placed by 7th December to ensure presents can be wrapped and under the tree in time!
