Subway’s naming rights sponsorship of Socceroos to conclude
Football Australia and Subway® Australia have announced that Subway® Australia's Socceroos naming rights sponsorship agreement will conclude in August, following the natural completion of the current contract term.
Football Australia unveiled Subway as the new naming rights partner in 2022 noting at the time that the three-year partnership would be the largest ever national team sponsorship deal in Australian football history.
Over the course of the sponsorship, Subway® Australia has been a proud and committed supporter of Football Australia, the Subway® Socceroos, CommBank Matildas and the broader football community.
Subway Australia has partnered with Football Australia through some of Australia's most significant moments-including two record-breaking World Cup performances and a period of unprecedented growth in participation across the country.
With both organisations entering new strategic phases, the decision to conclude the sponsorship was made jointly, and with a strong sense of pride in what has been achieved. The sponsorship has left a lasting legacy, and both Football Australia and Subway® Australia remain deeply committed to supporting Australian communities in their respective ways.
