SportsGrid announce their inaugural Advisory Board
SportsGrid, publishers of the award-winning revolutioniseSPORT platform, have announced appointments to their inaugural Advisory Board.
Appointed members include Sport NSW Chair and Scouts NSW Chief Executive, Carolyn Campbell (named as Chair); outgoing Football West Chief Executive, James Curtis and Hockey Australia Board Member, award-winning journalist and founder of Ladies who League, Mary Konstantopoulos.
SportsGrid Chief Executive, Alex Mednis said each of the members of the Advisory Board brought with them a breadth of experience across the sport sector that will assist the directors and management in providing objective advice, support and contribute to strategic plans and value creation of and within the company.
Mednis advised “I am pleased to announce the appointment of such a high calibre advisory board.
“Each member brings skills, knowledge and experience within the sports sector to provide advice on all areas of our business. Each member will provide invaluable first-hand experience and insight and views on emerging or unfamiliar issues faced by the sector.
“By combining the advisory board's strong industry knowledge and our technology solutions, we are committed to developing and problem solving the most challenging sports sector concerns.”
Stating that it was an honour to be approached and appointed as Chair of the Board,
Campbell (pictured) commented “when I was approached to be involved with SportsGrid, I was immediately interested in the role due to the impeccable reputation of the organisation, the impact they have had on the sector and the continuous evolution of digital technology in the sport sector.
“I am looking forward to working with the other highly respected advisory board members to bring together our combined experience and knowledge to advise on all aspects of SportsGrid into the future.”
