Snow Patrol’s one-off Melbourne show to use Ticketmaster Verified Fan for ticket presale
Mindful that their one-off Australian concert on 2nd August at Melbourne’s Palais Theatre is likely to create a massive demand for tickets, popular Scottish/Irish Snow Patrol are collaborating with Ticketmaster Verified Fan® for the presale.
Aware that there are going to be more people who want to see them perform at the Palais Theatre than there will be available tickets, the band are committed to getting tickets into the hands of genuine fans rather than scalpers or bots - so they’re collaborating with Ticketmaster Verified Fan® for the presale.
Ticketmaster’s Verified Fan® utilises a unique ‘fan-first’ technology to help identify fans who truly want to attend the show and restrict ticket access to scalpers and bots.
For the Snow Patrol show, it will work as follows:
• Fans register for Snow Patrol’s Presale powered by Verified Fan® via this link snowpatrolau.ontouraccess.com/ – registration is now open, and closes at 10pm (AEST) on Sunday 20th May.
• Fans who are successfully verified will be notified via email by 8am on Wednesday 23rd May.
• Then on Wednesday 23rd May, approximately two to four hours before the Presale which will take place at 2pm (AEST), verified fans will then receive a one-time use access code to unlock access to tickets.
• Fans can then find and purchase tickets during the Presale without racing against scalpers and bots.
• To allow for as many fans as possible to see Snow Patrol at Palais Theatre, codes are valid for one-time use and purchasers are held to a limit of four tickets maximum.
Ticketmaster emphasise that registering does not guarantee fans will receive a code or have the ability to purchase tickets. Presale tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
If fans miss out on tickets in the Presale, there will be limited tickets available in the general public on sale at 2pm on Friday 25th May. Codes will not be required for this.
